The Challenge
The owners of this newly built Willoughby home had a vision to create a vibrant space that blends modern elegance with functional outdoor living.
Working to the property boundary, we had to carefully balance aesthetic appeal with practical elements like paving, irrigation, and privacy features. The selection of materials, from crazy paving to composite decking, had to be both durable and harmonious with the overall architectural vision, ensuring seamless integration across front and backyards.
The Outcome
A stunningly reimagined outdoor space that combines refined details and natural elements. With automatic driveway gates, a Corten artwork centerpiece, grey cobblestone driveway, and lush planting softened by Newtech timber decking, the result is a versatile and inviting landscape that enhances both the property’s beauty and its functionality.

Modern lines meet lush living
This full landscape renovation was the finishing touch following a complete home rebuild. A project that embraced both classic design and elegant outdoor features. Extending all the way to the property boundary, every corner of this outdoor space was meticulously crafted to elevate functionality and visual appeal.

Starting with a striking rendered feature fence, paired with timber picket accents and automated driveway gates, the front entry delivers an immediate sense of privacy and grandeur. A diverse planting scheme and lush Sir Walter turf softens the strong architectural elements, while the intricate crazy paving is a timeless design choice that adds texture and character to each step.

At the heart of the rear garden, a custom Corten artwork captures the eye, a beautiful focal point that plays with the natural tones of the landscape. Complementing this artistic feature, composite Newtech timber decking adds a modern touch to the layout, combining durability with elegance.

Completing the renovation is a grey cobblestone driveway and cross-over, marrying functionality with style as it enhances the home’s frontage. Every element, from the cobbles underfoot to the vibrant greens around, works together to create an outdoor sanctuary that is equal parts refined and inviting.

Finally, a custom irrigation system keeps the garden and lawn lush and green throughout the year. Tailoring the water distribution to the garden’s specific needs and seasonal weather changes.
